This is the debut release manufactured with the next level smartminting® 4.0 technology. In close collaboration with B.H.Mayer, CIT continues to develop minting technology and thereby create new numismatic possibilities. With the Cook Islands 5 oz Iron Knight coin and the new techniques, the boundaries have been pushed far beyond any other existing minting methods.

The medieval warrior not only impresses with an unprecedented enormous relief of 9 mm, but also with extremely fine filigree details even on ultra-high proof surfaces. The smartminting® 4.0 technology thus achieves up to 100% more relief height than before and is available exclusively from CIT and their distribution partners.
