First, a few definitions of terms found herein.
"Seller" shall be Art in Coins, its members, directors, officers or employees (hereinafter "we", "us" or "our") that are duly authorized to deal in precious metals.
"Buyer" shall be the individual, corporation, limited liability company, limited liability partnership, partnership, or other entity purchasing precious metal products from us (hereinafter "customer", "buyer", "you" or "your").
"Payer" is the individual or entity submitting payment for any order conducted through our website or as a point of sale, in person, purchase.
"Method of Payment" means those methods we make available to you to pay us for your order, subject to certain terms and conditions and may be changed at our sole discretion.
"Business days" means the normal work days Monday through Friday inclusive, and does not include Saturdays, Sundays, and federal statutory holidays.
"Bullion" implies any non-denominated bar/round or other similar product that does not assign a legal tender value.
"Sovereign" refers to any traditional government issued coin such as Britannia's, Silver Eagles, Maple Leafs, Libertads, Pandas, etc.
We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time for any reason. If we exercise this right, we will cancel your order, including the shipment of same, and we will notify you and refund any monies paid to us.
We reserve the right to reject any late or otherwise underfunded payment(s).
We reserve the right to permanently close the account of any buyer we deem to be abusive or remiss in regards to any of our terms of service.
We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions of sale at any time, without advance notice.
Art in Coins newsletter. You may opt out at any time with the unsubscribe link in the footer section of the newsletter. You can find us on our social media business pages as an alternative to our email marketing campaigns.
We adhere to AML/FINTRAC regulations as they pertain to transacting in precious metals and other monetary instruments. As such, verifiable client information and sales records are required and will be retained.
Art in Coins may only transact with directly registered and verified account holding customers. We are not permitted to ship to third parties in respect of Canadian and US anti-money laundering, racketeering and terrorism funding legislation.
Our business model does not employ live spot market pricing for "Bullion" or "Sovereign" products due to limited resources available for the hedging activity that live market pricing requires.
For these products, we employ a "fire and forget" strategy. We add a small dealer margin to our cost and once listed, the price for these items is not actively managed.
Whereas, our prices can be higher (or lower) than other dealers depending on market conditions.
We will accommodate any request for cancellation as long as your order has not already shipped. Contact us with your order information and we will cancel the transaction. For any received payments, we will refund immediately, no fuss, no fees and no hard feelings.
Once an order has shipped, it is subject to our regular return policy and conditions.
Discount codes cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions or clearance items and are single use in nature unless otherwise specified by Art in Coins.
Art in Coins gift cards are delivered by email and are immediately transferable. Our gift cards never expire or lose value over time. Gift cards cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions and are only redeemable on purchases through our retail website www.artincoins.com
Unless otherwise noted, all products are in-stock and available for immediate delivery.
Our products are sourced brand new and guaranteed authentic. Customer acknowledges that even newly minted products may exhibit minor manufacturing defects on the specimen or the accompanying packaging.
Full payment is due within 5 business days from order placement.
For all payments, account holder and payer information must be in agreement. Third party payments on behalf of another customer are not accepted.
Payments via PayPal must be from verified accounts only, no exceptions.
Art in Coins guarantees 3 business day shipping for in-stock products after receipt of payment. If we're late, you will receive a $10 Art in Coins gift card via email.
For new customers, at our discretion, proof of identification may be requested prior to fulfilling orders.
Any problems upon receipt (damaged goods, missing items) must be reported within 10 business days from the delivery date as marked in the tracking history.
Import taxes and any other fees for international orders are the sole responsibility of the buyer so please be aware of regulations prior to purchase. Any orders "refused upon delivery" will be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus any costs incurred by Art in Coins for return shipping.
Our foreign currency quotes are for customer reference only as our store only accepts payments in Canadian Dollars.
Art in Coins fully insures all orders to the address provided during checkout. For international customers using 3rd party shipping services, our financial obligation to your shipment is concluded once a parcel is handed over to your service provider.
For sales within Canada, investment grade gold / platinum (99.5%) and silver (99.9%) are tax exempt. All other products are subject to 5% GST and any applicable provincial sales tax.
Items are available for purchase, but will not ship to the customer until we have received them from the mint. Regular payment and refund terms apply. We will provide the best time frame for when these orders ship, based on manufacturer estimates. Orders that contain both in-stock and pre-order items will ship only when all items become available.
Art in Coin assumes no direct responsibility for pre-order items delayed due to mint shipping delays or manufacturing constraints that are beyond our control. We will of course honor any requests to cancel and refund an order whenever a delivery estimate exceeds customer needs or expectations.
Exchanges are not offered at this time. Returns are accepted for applicable products and must be completed within 15 business days from receipt.
Customers are required to notify Art in Coins within 5 business days the intent to return an item after which, return instructions will be provided.
Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer unless there was an error in the processing of your order, in which case, return shipping will be paid for by Art in Coins.
All packaging and contents must be original, complete and without damage. Art in Coins assumes no obligation to accept or reimburse orders lost or damaged during return shipping. Tracked and insured shipping is highly recommended for all returns.
Due to the volatile market pricing of precious metals, Art in Coins does not accept returns on "Bullion" or "Sovereign" products and as such, all sales are final.
All sales are final for both clearance and special order items.
In no event will Art in Coins be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.
