Please note: This item is missing the certificate of authenticity. The coin and remaining packaging are in perfect mint condition.
The 2014 Fiji issued Year of the Horse is depicted in a coveted coloured proof quality coin set. It is comprised of two 1/2 ounce silver coins shaped in the traditional ying yang arrangement representing perfect balance, interconnection and wholeness through opposing forces. This is the perfect addition to any silver coin collection.
Each coin has a coloured horse on one side and the coat of arms of Fiji on the obverse sides. Flip the set over, and you will again see the obverse and reverse side of each coin. Every time you turn over the set, the two sides -- reverse and obverse -- are in perfect balance. Both sides of each coin are stamped with interlocking horseshoes. These horseshoes are considered just as lucky as the horse itself.
Chinese lunar astrology recognizes this seventh zodiac symbol as one that may be lucky with money. This sign is a fire sign, full of energy and drive. A diligent and hard worker, the horse is about self-improvement and determination.
Produced by the Mint of Norway and legal tender in Fiji, this is the fifth coin set in the series.
