This incredible numismatic centerpiece contains five ounces of 99.9% pure gold struck in a proof quality finish.  The true ingenuity however, lies in the Mother of Pearl inlay. It comes from the Pinctada Maxima, the largest natural growth pearl oyster. It takes up to 12 weeks to select the most beautiful shells for the series, after which they are sized and then crafted into their designs using ultrasonic waves.
