It’s a Gold Eagle coin unlike any you’ve seen before. Struck to a large 70 mm diameter, this coin takes the form of a silver ring containing two ounces of .999 pure silver. Within the ring is a glass insert that sandwiches a .999 pure gold inlay of an eagle in flight.
Its creation comes courtesy of a special technique known as “Embracing Gold,” which gives the impression of a golden design floating in open space within the silver ring.
The reverse features an image of a waving American flag and the number 35 enclosed in wreaths. This is in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the American Gold Eagle coin – one of the most widely collected gold coins on the planet.
The obverse displays the coin’s weight, purity and legal-tender value. The coin comes minted in Proof-Like condition and delivers in a window view presentation case along with certificate of authenticity.
