Each note is printed with a unique serial number for easy authentication. Additionally, secure micro-patterning is embedded throughout the artwork.
Designed to be stacked or collected in bulk, each note contains precisely 1000 milligrams (1 gram) of 24k gold protected between layers of durable polymer. The gold within each Aurum® is visible from edge-to-edge and is fully recoverable using standard fire assay techniques.

This Aurum® is single sided with full color artwork printed on the obverse and a patented “dimensional gold” embossed effect on the reverse, making it easy to authenticate. A large central maple leaf is created using a combination of micro-printed elements and technical security features. The Toronto skyline is visible across the horizon of the note.
Two bands feature repeating patterns and micro-printed security elements for a secure and verifiable investment. “Un Gramme” is printed in the lower right corner
of the note below an emblem containing the issue year and unique serial number.
