The Jolly Silver Pig is followed up by a second Lunar issue, the Gilded Jolly Pig.  Minted from one ounce of fine silver, the Jolly Silver Pig is a three-dimensional numismatic sculpture with beautiful floral ornaments but has now been finished in beautiful .999 pure gold leaf.

The pig is minted in a way that allows it stand freely on its own to make an ideal display and conversation piece. It is undoubtedly one of the most unique lunar coins ever produced and ships in an elegant collector’s box.

This beautiful .999 shaped Silver coin is dedicated to those born under the Chinese lunar year of the Pig and delivers with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Very limited and lucky mintage of only 888 pieces worldwide.

Zodiac Calendar Sign

The Pig (豬) is the twelfth and the last sign of the Earthly Branches. In the continuous Sexagenary cycle, every twelfth year corresponds to Hai, and is commonly called “the Year of the Pig” (豬年). There are five types of Pigs, named after the Chinese elements. In order, they are: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth. In the Japanese zodiac and Tibetan zodiac, the Pig is replaced by the boar which is technically a pig. In the Dai zodiac, the Pig is replaced by the elephant. In the Gurung zodiac, the Pig is replaced by the deer, no close relation to a pig.

The Jolly Silver Pig is joined by two additional matched lunar coins – a traditional gold version and once again a five-gram silver note with brilliant surface finishing.
